Now finding hotel rooms is getting to next to impossible. If you plan on going book now, the room rates are going to get higher and higher as we get closer to D-Day. You might have to get creative...family, friends...camp grounds, check out Cherry Hill, an RV park and campground in College Park, MD. With that said, there are steals still out there

Try the outskirts of DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Pentagon City in Virginia OR Laurel, Silver Spring, Bethesda or Rockville in Maryland.

We are recommending Rockville or Bethesda. Areas with good public transportation, if your are outside of DC Area.

There are many areas that are not particularly safe, they are expecting over a million +++ people and waiting lines beginning as early as the 16th of January, plan accordingly.
