So you are hosting...Where do you start????....Try a To-Do list?

Start by creating a simple To-Do list. This can be done on paper, on your computer, on-line... check out http://www.tadalist.com/ it's free and best of all easy.

Break down the list into manageable chunks, theme, decor, who's coming, what's needed and you can break it down to whatever works for you. Keep it short, try not to have more than 10 things on a your To-Do list. Assign tasks to family members while you work on what you do best.

Now finding hotel rooms is getting to next to impossible. If you plan on going book now, the room rates are going to get higher and higher as we get closer to D-Day. You might have to get creative...family, friends...camp grounds, check out Cherry Hill, an RV park and campground in College Park, MD. With that said, there are steals still out there

Try the outskirts of DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Pentagon City in Virginia OR Laurel, Silver Spring, Bethesda or Rockville in Maryland.

We are recommending Rockville or Bethesda. Areas with good public transportation, if your are outside of DC Area.

There are many areas that are not particularly safe, they are expecting over a million +++ people and waiting lines beginning as early as the 16th of January, plan accordingly.

It is an interesting time for our country and God Bless America as we go the polls tomorrow. We do not need to tell folks how long the early voting lines were here in Atlanta.
Almost people did not mind standing in line. Of course, the conversation is very light on politics; limited to "can you believe these lines to wish government had more stations open to accommodate the number people out cast their votes"
Conversations were light, full humor, about work and family. People calling back to the office to report they were still in line and were likely to there in line for a while. Well, waiting in line 41/2 hours in Cobb County, one tends to get to know little bit more about those in line with them.

Questions come up on what everyone does for a living and what it took to get off work to vote. On explaining what we do, someone ask if we would stand in line for someone who did not have the time. We would definitely stand in line for someone however; they would be missing the whole experience.
Of course, if there was no other way for this individual to vote, the point is to vote.

Yes...Gas Crisis in Atlanta.

The highlight of the month of September was which end of town had gas and never mind the price. Did you say they had premium. Calls from clients looking for gas and the team's on E. Our concerns are what will happen in the next major storms?

Thankfully, the situation has been rectified and gas prices have dropped considerably.
